1. Posts

The Posts section allows you to create, edit, publish and manage website blog posts.

Step 1: Open All Posts

From the left-hand menu:

Posts → All Posts

This will open the Posts management screen where you can view all existing posts.

From this page, you can:

  • Search for a post
  • Filter posts by Status
  • Filter posts by Created Date
  • Create a new post
  • Preview a post
  • Edit a post
  • Edit a post using the Page Builder
  • View revisions
  • Copy the post URL
  • Delete a post

Step 2: Create a New Post

To create a new post, click Create Post at the top-right.

Fill in the required post information.

Title

Enter the title of your post.

Example: 
Natural Stone vs Porcelain Paving: Which Is Right for You?

The title should clearly describe the topic of the article.

Slug

The slug is used for the post URL.

Example:

natural-stone-vs-porcelain-paving-which-is-right-for-you

You can leave this blank if you want the system to automatically generate it from the title.

Excerpt

Add a short summary of the post.

The excerpt may be displayed on blog or post listing pages.

Content

The main post content is managed through the Page Builder.

Click:

Edit with Page Builder

You can then create and arrange the post content using the available Page Builder elements.

Step 3: Select a Category

On the right-hand side, locate Category.

Select one or more categories for the post.

You can also choose the Primary category where applicable.

Categories help organise posts and make it easier for visitors to browse related content.

Step 4: Set the Post Status

Under Status, select the required status.

For a live post, select:

Publish

Make sure the post is ready before publishing it.

Step 5: Set the Publish Date

Use Publish Date to choose when the post should be published.

You can select a specific date for the post.

Step 6: Add a Thumbnail

Under Thumbnail, click the thumbnail/media option.

Select an existing image from the Media Library or upload a new image.

The selected image will be used as the main thumbnail for the post.

Step 7: Manage SEO Settings

Scroll down to SEO Settings.

Use the available SEO sections to manage the post's search appearance and other SEO information.

Check the relevant tabs, such as:

  • General
  • Schema
  • Social

Make sure the SEO information accurately represents the post.

Step 8: Save or Update the Post

After completing the post, click:

Update Post

For a new post, this saves the post according to the selected status.

Step 9: Preview a Post

From the All Posts page, open the post's Actions (⋯) menu.

Select:

Preview

This allows you to check how the post appears on the website before sharing it with visitors.

Step 10: Edit an Existing Post

Go to:

Posts → All Posts

Find the post you want to change.

Click the Actions (⋯) menu and select:

Edit

Make the required changes and click Update Post.

Step 11: Edit Using Page Builder

From the Actions menu, you can also select:

Edit in Builder

This opens the post directly in the Page Builder so you can modify the visual layout and content.

Step 12: View Revisions

Open the post's Actions (⋯) menu and select:

Revisions

Use this to review previous versions of the post where available.

Step 13: Copy the Post URL

From the Actions (⋯) menu, select:

Copy URL

This copies the post's website URL so it can be shared or used elsewhere.

Step 14: Delete a Post

Open the post's Actions (⋯) menu and select:

Delete

Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Important: Only delete a post when you are sure it is no longer required.
